how to add a cateogry?

Hi,
I have just installed web auction and I was wondering if somebody could tell me how I can insert a new product category (detailed if possible as I am not an IT guru)

Once you are logged in as an admin, you click on the “Add Category” link on the left side.

I tried to log in as an admin and as a new user but the log in doesnt work. I always return back to the login page?!?

The username and password to login as admin are contained in the readme file. The username and password are both case sensitive.

What is the URL to your install so I can take a look. Hard to speculate where the problem lies without a few details.
