Question regarding posting items

Hi, im using your script for some time now, and im wondering if there’s a trick to let registered users (normal users, not admins) also post some items to bid on (like a sort of Ebay) without making them admin. We have got questions about that since the use of Web Auction, and i was wondering if its possible. If its not, too bad. If it is possible, how can i do that?

Adding this functionality would require some PHP and a little bit of careful stepping, so I’ll have to answer that there is no way to do this right now.

Web Auction wasn’t really designed to be an E-bay style auction. That said, it wouldn’t be difficult for a developer who is familiar with Dataface to modify it to allow such behavior. It would involve some reworking of permissions, and a concept of product ownership.
