should I upgrade?

I have an old version of Web Auction and Xataface. The version.txt file says 0.3.5 563. The Dataface version.txt file shows Dataface 1.0.7 561.

When/if I upgrade, do I need to upgrade both Xataface and WebAuction? Where can I find a list of improvements/patches/updates so I know if it is worthwhile upgrading and what to expect when I am done?

Also, when I upgrade, do auction settings and config info get overwritten?

Upgrading is a good idea. Settings should not be overwritten. Only changes that you made to the source.
Of course, it is a good precaution to back up before upgrading.

In this case I don’t believe there were any database schema changes. The updates are mainly just security updates.
