xataface-1.1.3 – FIND layout is broken

Hello,

I found that a recent upgrade to xataface v. 1.1.3 has caused the layout of my FIND tab to break.

normally, the FIND tab window has some search instructions (HELP) located top / RIGHT, and along the LEFT of those help instructions is just white space - then as you scroll down (past the help) you can access all the search criteria boxes…

Then with xataface 1.1.3 in place, when I go to the FIND tab, I get those FIND help instructions, AND the search criteria overlapping each other, both are oriented TOP LEFT - its a mess. I changed back to ‘ xataface-1.0.7 ‘ again and life is good….

Anyway - v. 1.1.3 allows me to limit my LIST VIEW to 64 characters per cell - which is nice to have.

see previous post: http://xataface.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=23051#23051 to limit list view to 64 characters.

It looks like the FIND tab is an html table, where the the HELP info and search boxes , are normally on different rows - & v. 1.1.3 tried to place them on the same row ?? not sure…

Perhaps its possible to remove the “ FIND help “ info all together - that seems like would be a quick fix…

I am using Firefox 3.0.5 to view the site.

Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated.

thank’s

-B

My best guess is that you had the old stylesheet cached. I cannot seem to reproduce this issue.

i.e. quick fix is to

  1. try refreshing the page.

  2. try closing and reopening the browser

  3. try deleting temporary internet files.

Hello,

thank’s - my problem was related to cached information.

All seems to work just fine now with xataface-1.1.3

Thank you.
