Trouble w/ ‘makesite’ command

Hello,

I am eagerly anticipating the use of your great looking program into my website. However, I am having problems using the makesite command.

The confusion (for me) lies in using myPHPadmin located at my hosting company (IX Web Hosting). I have created my table there on remote server. However, my dataface is obviously on my home computer.

Could you please walk me through setup of my makesite command –

My info looks like this…

unsure

billy -on remote server-

something -on remote server-

00.000.000.000 -remote server ip-

testing -on remote server-

http://www.project.com/dataface-0.7.1 -on home computer-

Hi,

Unfortunately the makesite command has to be run on the host same machine where the site will be running

If you don’t have shell access to your server, then I recommend you follow the manual set-up instructions in the getting started guide. In fact I rarely use the makesite command because it is so simple to just do manually..
