error message on install?

I just placed the xatabase 1.03b on my site at public_html/mysite/xataface_directory. Available to the net, & site is up. The directory is there, files exist & open/untarred etc… but when I try to check the install with mysite/xataface_directory/dataface_info.php

I receive this error msg: [b] error loading config file.no tables specified[/b].

I’ll keep checking here but would appreciate some guidance. The install instructions say to check error references… link is inop? so I am checking/reading here too.
