Registration Activation Emails

I have set up and auction and as of yesterday when anyone trying to bid on the items ‘registers’ they do not receive an email to activate registration.

Does this mean that it was working before yesterday?

How many people have experienced this?

Is this hosted on your own server or on the weblite servers?

There are 2 possibilities:

Emails are getting blocked by spam filters.
Emails are not being sent.

You’ll probably want to write a test script that sends emails to see whether or not PHP is able to send email - that will help you get to the bottom of it.

Some people checked their spam filters, used a different computer and it worked. I still have one person having problems.

I’ll try to get it straight.

I do have another question for you. How do you ‘edit’. I keep getting an error page.

Thanks. I love the auction site. I am using it to hold fundraising auctions for Pet Adoption groups.
