A couple more issues [SOLVED]

Hi Steve,

I’ve a couple more issues too. Hope you can help.

1) For some reason on one of my tables…when I click an entry (in list view), I don’t see all the fields I should (when it goes to browse view). I’ve set visibility:list = hidden for most of the fields (of which there are about 60). The first few fields display/hide as expected but the rest just don’t . By this I mean it’s as if I have visibility:browse = hidden for those fields too (but I’ve not). Have you ever seen this before?

2) I’ve a relationship between 2 tables “ContractData” and “SiteData”. When I create a new contract (in ContractData), I have the option to select sites from SiteData. Lets say I select 2 sites. For some reason though, when I hit “save” after inputting everything I need to, it’s only adding in one of the sites. Even weirder, before I put a UNIQUE key on the SiteName it was actually duplicating the records in SiteData.

Any ideas?

Number 2 is now solved. I’d had the same error in the past and logged in in this very forum

Still confused with number 1 though.

Hmmm, this issue seems to be around fields that are created in a table once Xataface already “knows” about them.

On a separate table, I’ve just created some new fields in an already existing table. They’re showing up fine in list view but not in browse view.

and…EPIC FAIL!

Stuff is only visibile in browse view when it’s got something to actually show.

I’m just going to shut myself away for a bit.
